Some really nice improv here. If I could suggest something; next time, record your music with your computer. If you've got a USB or MIDI output on your keyboard, plug it into your pc so we get to hear this awesomeness in high quality with out the plastic thumping noises :P

Irtorius responds:

Haha yeah, thats true, think i have one of those outputs, have to get one of those cables though. I'll see what i can do about it =3

Nice that you liked it :D

Really love the tune of this track, quite 'swingy'. The only things I can point out that need work are the mix and the breakdown/build up. I think you've got TOO much stuff clogging up the low frequencies and it makes the track sound muddy and sloppy. Try playing each element at a separate time or notch out the clashing frequencies with an EQ.

For the breakdown/build up, try playing with the dynamics, pitch and spacey effects (delay, reverb). Give us the impression that the track is falling apart, then bring it all back and build it back up adding effects as it goes, then DROP!

Nice work on this one!

Not bad.

Really liking this track! The synths are amazing to say the least. Only thing I can complain about is the default perc and the dead-set constant volume of everything throughout the track. There needs to be more change in volume, or atleast some use of automated filters to create some mood.

Great job!

LOVE THIS

BUT...the mix is god awful. It clips so much in the chorus and is very harsh on the ears. You had good structure, composition and those dubstep synths were quality. But the mix has really let you down here.

BassTwister responds:

If you mean the vocals then yes. It is suposed t be that way. This is also not tkind of music that should be "Kind" on your ears. Thanks tho for the constructive critisism :)

This isn't dubstep. It's more like elctro.

I think your drums could be a bit more prominent in the mix. Apart from that; solid track!

Sounds decent. The chorus is actually really crisp and tight. Not really a fan of the intro. Overall great job!

Pezmobile responds:

Too much bitcrushing for ya? haha thanks for the review!

First of all, I think you could use a heavier kick. The one you have now is too weak. The mix also needs some work, it's hard to hear all the elements of the track play at the same time. It sounds as if they're fighting with each other to be heard. Try cutting the clashing frequencies in some sounds to get rid of this problem. That way everything will sit in the mix and be clear.

Had a nice pattern with the saw(ish) sound, but I thought it needed a bit more. Try adding a bass, some chords, pads, maybe an arp and general SFX to give the track some character.

And procrastination. FUCK THAT hahaha. It's a nice listen man! 4/5 8/10 :D

Great composition! The panning doesn't seem to be 'right'. You have all of your softer elements playing through the left channel and the more prominent ones playing through the right. It makes me want to tilt my head in a hopeless attempt to correct it.

I think you should be a bit more subtle with the panning. Other than that, this song has a wonderful structure and it unfolds (seemingly) naturally. I wonderful piece!

Nice

A very enveloping track! It has some nice high points and a euphoric break. "Epic" would be the only word to describe this piece of brilliance. Mix is great too.
